Fact is, we were built to withstand the elements, but with the advancements in civilization, our bodies really don't know how to cope with the cold anymore. We have goose down jackets, wool sweaters, hoodies, gloves, scarves, you name it we have it. Even so, each one of us still has the ability to remind our body to do what it already knows to do...

Alone with my Family, my Thoughts and Maine
Have you ever had the idea of going away and doing nothing? I mean ... really nothing? This year, I decided I was going to move from thinking about it to doing it. And, so I find myself in rural Maine surrounded by beauty, a frozen lake, 16-18" of snow in the forecast for today and already about 2 feet on the ground. Amazingly beautiful.
Done is Better than Perfect
The inspiration behind the title of my blog today is to remind us that if we want change to happen in our lives, we first have to commit to doing something -- but it doesn't have to look or be perfect all the time. It is better to commit to doing something, than to seek perfection at the expense of doing nothing.
