Have you ever had the idea of going away and doing nothing? I mean ... really nothing? This year, I decided I was going to move from thinking about it to doing it. And, so I find myself in rural Maine surrounded by beauty, a frozen lake, 16-18" of snow in the forecast for today and already about 2 feet on the ground. Amazingly beautiful.

The inspiration behind the title of my blog today is to remind us that if we want change to happen in our lives, we first have to commit to doing something -- but it doesn't have to look or be perfect all the time. It is better to commit to doing something, than to seek perfection at the expense of doing nothing.
